Nursery (3-4 Year Olds)

A secure, safe and happy childhood is important in its own right and it provides the foundation for children to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up.

At Fairchildes Nursery we put our children first. We have an enthusiastic and caring team. We are extremely committed to ensuring that children can be children and have fun and are nurtured, happy and well cared for. This is displayed in the positive, friendly relationships seen throughout our nursery. This creates the foundation for a positive attitude to education which follows our children through the school.

Our environment is vibrant, secure and very well resourced, both inside and out. It provides the children with a variety of exciting activities and many opportunities to learn through play.

The children have access to the indoor and outdoor environment for most of the day and are encouraged to make their own choices about where they work and play. The children have daily exercise and dance sessions to start their day and weekly music sessions. We also visit the woodland area for Forest School activities which are enjoyed by all. We promote and develop independence and decision making skills in all we do.

School Meals

School meals are provided for full day sessions at an additional cost of £2.75 per day.

An itemised invoice will be provided to parents who book any additional sessions (excluding Breakfast and After School Club) or school lunches. Invoices will not be issued to those parents who are only using their free childcare entitlement.

Breakfast and After School Club

The Nursery runs a breakfast provision each morning from 7.30am until 8.45am. This includes breakfast and fun activities.

After school provision runs each day from 3.15pm-6pm. This includes a small snack for those who stay beyond 5pm.
